The Annual Memorial Day Program will begin at 12:30 on Memorial Day, May 25, 2026, at the Fillmore Turner Hall. The public is invited. Refreshments will be available at 11:30 a.m.
The program will include the Presentation of the Colors by the West Bend Veteran Color Guard. The Kewaskum High School Band will lead with the National Anthem and the U.S. Armed Forces Medley.
A short program will follow with a video and a presentation by students from Kewaskum High School on why we celebrate Memorial Day. The program will close with the traditional fresh flower wreath procession to the cemetery, the twenty-one-gun salute, and taps, followed by the attendees’ placing flowers on the veterans’ graves in the cemetery.
The Memorial Day Program takes place indoors at the historic Fillmore Turner Hall at 523 Co Highway H. Handicap parking and building access are available at the back of the building.
The program is hosted by the Farmington Historical Society. Our thanks to The Fillmore Turner Hall, West Bend Veteran Color Guard, St. Martin’s parish for the refreshments, and the Kewaskum High School Band and Kewaskum students.
Highway construction on Hwy 144 from Barton to Hwy 28 is scheduled to be finished, so Hwy 144 will be open. There may be construction activity from the intersection of Hwy 28/Hwy 144 north in the Boltonville area.
