Terror Shed Haunted House Gives Behind-the-Scenes Look to ARC Fond du Lac

Posted

On Friday, Oct. 24, a group from the ARC Fond du Lac came for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Terror Shed Haunted House. Hunter Sabish and Kaleb Eggers, founders of the Terror Shed, each took smaller groups through and explained the behind-the-scenes. After the tour, a hot dog and burger lunch was served for all to enjoy.
“We had the pleasure of giving a special behind-the-scenes tour to The Arc Fond du Lac this past week, followed by a delicious meal! Such a great group of amazing people,” commented Sabish and Eggers.
This is the haunted house’s fifth year as the Terror Shed, a non-profit organization run by family and friends who all volunteer their time and effort to give back to the community. It will be open this Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8 are blackout out nights (each group gets one glow stick in total darkness), and Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13 will be the “Holiday of Terror,” featuring, none other than, Krampus.
The Terror Shed has been open since the beginning of October and has been busy collecting food items for the Kewaskum and Campbellsport Food Pantries. The Terror Shed also donated 1,000 tickets to the Red Cross, which is giving them out as an incentive to young adults who donate blood during their blood drives at colleges and high schools.
There have been people from all over Wisconsin, such as Madison, Baraboo, Stevens Point, Cudahy, and Waukesha, to name a few. People travel from Illinois, as well. There was one group from Michigan staying in Kewaskum for the weekend just to go to the haunted houses in the area.
The Terror Shed Haunted House is ranked “one of the best home haunts in Wisconsin” by Is It Scary Wisconsin and Yogi’s Road Trips and receives many five-star reviews.
