Wildlife Drive Resurfacing Project Set for Summer 2025 in the Village of Kewaskum

Posted

The Village of Kewaskum plans to undergo a small resurfacing project for approximately 0.5 miles of Wildlife Drive, stretching from Old Fond du Lac Road to Reigle Drive within the Village. The project aims to improve pavement conditions on the frequently traveled roadway.
During construction, a portion of the existing pavement will be removed and replaced with new asphalt. Additionally, existing curb ramps will be reconstructed, and new ones will be installed to improve accessibility. Fresh pavement markings will also be applied.
During this process, Wildlife Drive will remain open to traffic, but lane reductions will be in place.
As part of the project, traffic will be reduced to a single lane and temporary right-of-way acquisition will be required at curb ramp locations.
Additionally, the village received a grant to help cover resurfacing costs due to the high volume of school-related traffic in the area.
Construction is scheduled for this summer, with efforts made to ensure work is completed outside of the school year to minimize disruptions.
