2019 Horicon Marsh Bird Festival May 9 – 13
This special goose has been the talk of the Marsh. The white marks are its feathers, and wildlife experts believe it is a hybrid between a Canada goose and a snow goose. He or she has been well documented; notice its left ankle, which has a metallic bird band around it. (Mitchell B. Keller | DCP)
