Brooklyn Grisolono Receives 24-25 Xello/Method Test Prep High School Student Scholarship

Posted

Brooklyn Grisolono, a high school student at Kewauskum High School, has been recognized as one of the 2025 recipients of the Xello/Method Test Prep High School Student Scholarship presented by the Wisconsin School Counselor Association (WSCA). The Xello/Method Test Prep Scholarship recognizes high school senior students and the role their school counselor played in their high school success.
Brooklyn Grisolono is planning to attend William Penn University and noted that her work experience initiated through her school counselors provided her with the support and learning she needed to determine she wanted to become a nurse. Brooklyn said, “My counselors helped me think of pros and cons of each college and what would be the best fit for me. Based on the conversation we had, I committed to William Penn University to study nursing and play volleyball. I have had so much help from my counselors to support my decision and know it was the right choice for me.” Grisolono’s current school counselor at Kewauskum High School is Jamie Leoni. In addition to supporting Grisolono’s college planning, her school counselor provided personal support. She stated, “My counselor helped me with coping mechanisms, learning not to let what people say affect me. By having my counselor to talk to, I am so grateful that she helped me through this difficult time.” WSCA is proud to award Brooklyn Grisolono with one of our Xello/Method Test Prep High School Student Scholarships to assist in the goals she has set for her future.
Every February, the Wisconsin School Counselor Association recognizes students and individuals within the school counseling profession who demonstrated a profound impact on the school counseling profession and lives of students. Applications for the Xello/ Method Test Prep Scholarship are submitted to the Wisconsin School Counselor Association Professional Recognition & Scholarship Committee and are rated by a committee of active and retired school counselors. The organization selects four individuals to receive this award. Award winners were recognized at the WSCA National School Counseling Breakfast this year over a virtual presentation.
