On September 3, the Campbellsport boys cross country team won the Kiel Raiders Invitational with a team score of 33 points.
Garrett Pickering was the top individual runner at the Raiders Invite, with three other teammates finishing in the top six: Caleb Siebauer in third, Mason Dirmeier in fifth, and Porter Faust in sixth place to win the Invite.
“Garrett was battling Little Chute’s Ben Toeppler for the first half of the race before breaking away for the win,” said Head Coach Mike Kulibert. “Caleb moved to third around the one-mile mark and held that spot to the end.”
“Mason and Porter were steady throughout the race,” said Kulibert. “Auden had a forty-seven-second improvement over his race.”
The Campbellsport girls cross-country team finished in seventh place with 164 points at the Kiel Raiders Invitational.
“Madeline and Eva earned medals for their effort, with Eva having a career-best time for the 2 nd meet in a row,” said Kulibert.
Campbellsport cross country teams competed at WLA on September 8 after print time and will travel to Princeton on September 11 at 7:45 p.m.
