The Cougars celebrated senior night for Ava Smith, Kylie Ruplinger, Shea Willacker, Maliyah Galligan, Emma Muraski, Ellie Smith, Josie Twohig, Brielee Theisen, Abby Jarmuz, and Kiera Laverenz.
“I have consistently been impressed by this group of seniors, not only for their talent but also their heart,” said Campbellsport Head Coach Alexandra Brenner. “ They have made a lasting impact on the program.
“Last night’s game was the senior night we could have hoped for,” said Brenner. “ We had a great game, and I know my seniors enjoyed being out on the court.”
Campbellsport (26-12, 5-2) won in three sets in dominating fashion with scores of 25-11, 25-20, and 25-9 over Lomira (1-25, 0-7) to finish the 26th win of the season.

“I’m very proud of our record this season at 26-12,” said Brenner. “This season has been one of grit, determination, and perseverance to make a name for ourselves. I think our record shows that.”
“We were very happy to be seeded fourth and receive a first-round bye,” said Brenner. “ We have already begun preparing for the postseason and are excited for Thursday’s match.”
Campbellsport volleyball, as the four-seed, will host the winner of #5 Denmark/#12 Sheboygan South on October 22 at 7 p.m. for the Second Round of the WIAA Division 2 Volleyball Tournament.
