Volunteers Needed for Home Delivered Meal Program in Jackson

Posted

Volunteers are needed at the Jackson Community Center to provide kitchen assistance in packing meals for the home delivered meal participants on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Approximate time is 9 a.m. for one hour.

Volunteers are also requested for volunteer drivers, also in Jackson. They would be needed every other Wednesday and every Thursday, between 10:45 a.m.to Noon. Volunteers would give approximately one and a half hours to take noon meals from the Jackson Community Center to homebound persons.

Drivers can have their mileage reimbursed. Also, substitute drivers are needed any day of the week. They would love to hear from anyone who would like to volunteer.

Those interested, please call Amanda at the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Washington County at 262-335-4497 or 1-877-306-3030.
